Summer Reading Program

Liberty County School System encourages all students to keep reading this summer through the 2026 Summer Reading Program with Live Oak Public Libraries!

The program runs from June 1–July 31, 2026, and includes exciting reading challenges, prizes for students of all ages, and FREE healthy lunches. ALL JME students have a free Live Oak Public Library membership already!

Families are invited to attend the Summer Reading Program Kickoff:
Hinesville Library

Mrs. McCallar will be there to kick-off summer reading for our Superstars, and some of our favorite teachers will be joining her!

We encourage all students to visit the Hinesville and Midway Libraries throughout the summer to continue building strong reading habits and academic success. In addition to Live Oak Public Library's summer reading program, JME will be reading and logging on Beanstack as well.
